General Questions/New to Joomla! 4.x • Importing Joomla database into PhPMyAdmin in local MAMP Pro installation

I have quite a large site which I updated extensively using MAMP. It is now working well online using Joomla 4.3 and php 8.1. Now I wanted to update my local site in order to do some experimentation. But my sql dump is around 14 gb. If I use PhPMyAdmin's "Import" feature, the file will not import because the maximum is 8192 kb. If I unzip the sql file and copy the contents into the SQL window, there's immediately a notification "fatal javascript error", and the report for this error says "QuotaExceededError". If I press "Go", nothing happens. I've tried in both Firefox and Chrome with the same results. Is there something Joomla-specific in my database dump which is making this happen? Or does someone know a way around this.Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
